SolidFire Founder to Participate in Cloud Storage Panel at GigaOM Structure Conference
SolidFire, a provider of all-solid-state storage systems for cloud service providers, today announced that Dave Wright, its founder and CEO, will be participating in the "Cloud Storage: Moving Beyond Backup" panel at the GigaOM Structure conference in San Francisco, Calif. along with other well-known cloud and storage experts. The panel discussion will take place on June 23 at 9:05 a.m. local time.
This panel will examine whether the cloud can meet the performance, the security and cost requirements that businesses place on primary storage systems, and what it will take to make the cloud an appealing option.
SolidFire was founded in December 2009 by Dave Wright, the founder of Jungle Disk, a cloud backup company sold to Rackspace.
