Dan Gordon, Director of Research at Valhalla Partners emphasized the importance of seeking out competent legal advice for your startup.

He was joined by Dave McClure, founding partner of San Francisco-based accelerator 500 Startups, who discussed the pros and cons of accepting money from a difficult investor; as well as Ellie Wheeler, a senior associate at New York venture-capital firm Greycroft Partners, who explained why entrepreneurs should consider every option before deciding to drop out of college.
